Description
Main results of the three-year project "Cost-benefit analysis of public policies in the space sector" carried out by DEMM-UNIMI , in agreement with the Italian Space Agency (ASI). The socio-economic benefits of public policies in the Italian space sector are analyzed with reference to the following research topics:
- Providing companies in the upstream sector and related industries;
- Downstream Earth observation companies and their end users;
- The scientific community of sectors interested in space research.

The socio-economic impact of public policies in the space sector in Italy is the main theme of a conference held on 30 September 2021. The objective of the event is the presentation and discussion of the results of the three-year project "Cost-benefit analysis of policies in the space sector” by DEMM-UNIMI, in agreement with ASI.
